1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using the OpenBridges app, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app.

2. About the App

OpenBridges provides information about bridge openings, real-time statuses, parking availability, and related news in the Netherlands.

The app is provided by OpenDataWorks and can be contacted at info@opendataworks.com.

3. User Accounts and Authentication

To access certain features such as saving favorites and receiving notifications, users must log in using email authentication via Firebase. Account data is securely stored and can be deleted upon request.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

OpenBridges offers optional subscription plans (monthly, semi-annual, annual) that unlock advanced features, including:

All payments are handled via the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription via your Apple ID account settings.

5. Accuracy of Information

The app relies on external data sources for bridge status, parking availability, and related information. While we strive for accuracy and timely updates, OpenDataWorks cannot guarantee that the information displayed is always correct or current.

6. Limitation of Liability

OpenDataWorks is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the app, including delays caused by inaccurate bridge or parking information.

7. Privacy

Our use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user access to the app at any time, with or without notice, for behavior that violates these terms or is harmful to the app or its users.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The most current version will always be available on our website.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.
